iBUYPOWER are on their way to the grand final after defeating compLexity 2-0 (16-12 de_dust2, 16-9 de_inferno) in the upper bracket final.

The battle of America started off on de_dust2 with iBUYPOWER quickly taking a 3-0 lead as compLexity's A split was met with successful defense. The first gunround was going coL's way though, and coupled with Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert's one-vs-two on long, the score was tied at 3-3.

A B split was defended by Spencer "hiko" Martin's crucial double, but that was only exchanged for two gunrounds on iBUYPOWER's side thanks to the AWPing of Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham at the A bombsite.

Todd "anger" Williams' double on short opened up A for 7-6 in favour of compLexity, but yet another double by Latham set the halftime score at 7-8.

The second pistol round saw Joshua "steel" Nissan going forward from middle, scoring three quick headshots on the way to make it 11-7 with two anti-ecos. Braxton "swag" Pierce's agressive one-vs-two win was nullified by a successful eco by coL and the score was sitting at 12-11.

Most of the rest of the game was decided in the following round, when iBUYPOWER responded with an eco of their own thanks to a short push. Despite Gilbert's quad kill in the following round, Nissan's one put a nail to compLexity's coffin on map one for 14-12, while the map was finished only two rounds afterwards.

Skadoodle and steel push iBP to 1-0

iBUYPOWER were on the Counter-Terrorists side again on de_inferno, and Nissan-Pierce duo combined for five in the pistol, while compLexity continued to struggle even in the gunrounds up until it was 5-0.

Even then they were only able to win one round, as they lost most of their guns to Latham's save. One more was added to the mix after two more rounds, but iBUYPOWER forced their opponents to lose everything they had despite a round win once again.

Only Williams' quad in round twelve stood in the way of iBUYPOWER's first side success, which ended up being a nine-round lead at 12-3.  Williams continued to thrive in the second pistol, scoring a triple, but right in the first pistol round he got overrun in the A bombsite for 13-6.

Following four rounds were exchanged between the teams at 14-9, but iBUYPOWER didn't make any room for adjustment for compLexity and decided to put themselves at six match points with a quick strat on the A bombsite, which was soon turned into a match win at 16-9.
